We’re keeping it underground, kitty cats. The start line will be announced the week of August 12 at a hidden base that honours the rich history of alleycats in Toronto, and by extension the world.

Requirements

Helmets:

Helmets are MANDATORY. Period end of story.

Smartphones:

You will NEED a smartphone with data to look up the answers to your clues.

In the case of a shortage of checkpoint marshals, you’ll need to use your smartphone to photograph your bike freelocked at each checkpoint. You must include the monument, a distinguishing feature of the site, or street address in your photo for it to be counted.

Locks:

Locks must be used for your pics. You have to freelock your bike at each checkpoint for each photo. Cheating “freelocks” with your lock rested on a seat stay will be DQ’ed. If you think you might lose your key, bring a spare.

Finishing:

Your photos must include your bike freelocked at each checkpoint. In the event of a manifest system, your paper must be in decent shape and not disintegrated at the finish line. Check in with a marshall and show them your pics. You will be counted in order of finishing.
